What is an Apprenticeship in Team Leading?

Designed for supervisory or first-line managers, the Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship offers practical knowledge and skills from team-leading through to project and resource management to give you the tools you need to start your management journey. A Training Adviser will provide information, advice and guidance to ensure that you are following the most appropriate route. They will plan, organise and manage an individual learning plan which will be flexibly arranged to meet your needs. Assessments will take place in the workplace and regular progress reviews will ensure that you move forward in a timely manner.

Team Leader/Supervisor (Level 3) Apprenticeship

  • Team Leader Level 3 Qualification
  • Maths and English Level 2
  • Design a flexible, individualised learning plan
  • Provide workshops to develop your skills
  • Appoint a designated Training Adviser to guide and support you
  • Undertake quarterly progress reviews with you and your work place supervisor
  • Offer immediate contact and information through an online communication hub

It will typically take up to 15 months to complete, although the exact duration will be dependent on the previous experience of the individual.

This programme is ideal for those with a level of authority for managing resources, looking to motivate team members as well as achieve agreed outputs. The learning and resulting qualification will provide the skills and knowledge needed by team leaders in today’s dynamic business. It aims to develop an individual’s confidence in their abilities by developing work-related knowledge, skills and understanding. Individuals who undertake this qualification will develop key management skills to effectively lead a team. To complete this qualification you will need to supervise a small team.
