What level is right for me?
Generally speaking, level 2 is designed for Team Leaders who are primarily concerned with motivating their team members and achieving agreed outputs, with limited authority for deploying resources. Level 3 is for first line Managers who have decision-making responsibilities within defined limits and wider responsibility for people and their performance. Level 4 is aimed at middle managers with a wider span of control, greater accountability for performance and responsibility for determining resource allocation and operational methods.
There are no formal entry requirements. However you must be working in a managerial or team leading role at the appropriate level, either full-time and part-time in order to generate the necessary evidence to prove competence. CWT will guide you on this.
