Apprenticeships

What are they?

A real job with real pay while you continue learning. If you have not made a decision yet about which direction you should take after leaving school or college, Apprenticeships are an option to seriously consider. CWT will not make a decision for you but will help guide and advise you as you move into the world of work. We will encourage you to make the most of your chosen route forward and provide you with an opportunity to work and continue studying for qualifications that you will need for a successful future.

Who is eligible?

  • Those aged 16 to 24
  • Not in full time education
  • Have ambition and motivation for success

What will an Apprenticeship involve?

  • Employment with training leading to nationally recognised qualifications
  • National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) at level 2 or 3
  • Key skills, relevant to today's world of work - numeracy, communication and IT
  • A Technical Certificate relating to your chosen occupational area
  • Additional opportunities of a technical, supervisory or professional nature
