Samantha Kemp, partner at Trinity Accountants in Westwood Heath, Coventry, offered her valuable insights at the Accounts Induction to new apprentices regarding her career path, progression and success.

CWT Chamber Training have recruited record numbers of Accountancy Apprentices this year throughout Coventry and Warwickshire, ready to embark upon their careers in Accounting.

CWT provides a fantastic opportunity for budding accountants, offering a high quality learning experience for Apprentices, while simultaneously delivering an enriched programme with real business benefits for learners and employers alike.

One of the ways in which CWT achieve this is to offer guest speaker sessions by successful local employers who are experts in their field to inspire and motivate the young apprentices.

As an apprenticeship employer and ex apprentice herself, Samantha knows the importance in supporting young learners throughout their qualifications, enabling them to gain skills in the classroom that they can embed into the workplace. Samantha is currently mentoring 6 accounting apprentices, varying from levels 2-4 through the AAT Certificate and Diploma, in order for them to become qualified accounting technicians.

Feedback from the apprentices at induction highlighted what a highly valuable session Samantha delivered. They couldn't praise her highly enough. By the end of her talk, all apprentices were keen to get started with their qualifications and begin their own career journey.
