Junior Staff Development - Apprenticeships Full financial support is available for the training of junior staff who start their Apprenticeship between the ages of 16 - 18 years whether they are existing staff or in the process of being recruited to a new post. For other junior staff aged 19 - 24, there is significant financial training support with a small charge levied for Awarding Body (City & Guilds etc) registration and certification costs to the value of £95 per Apprentice. This only applies to young people who start an Apprenticeship at the age of 19 and above. Apprenticeships are available to all young people not currently in full-time education, whether you already work with an employer or are seeking your first job on the career ladder. |
