CJS Safegate Uses Fully-funded Training Grants!

CJS Safety Systems Ltd is one of the UK’s leading lift shaft edge protection hire companies based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Established in 2003 by owners, Clive, Jackie and Simon Fletcher, they have evolved into a bustling business, providing safety solutions to thousands of construction sites across the UK.

CJS Safety Systems has received grant funding from Warwickshire County Council's Nuneaton and Bedworth scheme, providing a £750 training grant, as well as an over 50's grant, offering up to £1000 worth of training per employee. This funding has enabled CJS Safety Systems to prioritise upskilling and training for their workforce, carried out by Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training. Recognising the significance of investing in their employees, CJS Safety Systems views training as essential for enhancing expertise in current roles and ensuring future career progression within the organisation. Despite resource limitations, the grant has allowed them to overcome challenges and empower their staff with the necessary knowledge and skills. Among the current economic challenges, the grant has provided a crucial avenue for CJS Safety Systems to focus on upskilling initiatives and to enhance their workforce capabilities. With added pressure to recruit new talent, the emphasis on investing in existing staff has become even more important for the organisation.

The grants have been used to upskill staff with a focus of a range of skills including Appraising People and Performance, Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health, Digital Marketing Strategy, Leveraging the Power of LinkedIn, Grow Your Business through Social Media, Managing Customer Expectations, Communicating Assertively, Finance for Non-Financial Managers and Microsoft Excel all delivered by Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training.
