NEW FUNDING SECURED FOR LEICESTERSHIRE - 22/10/2008

CWT - Chamber Training has secured new funding for businesses based in Leicestershire. The Directors Development programme, previously only available to CWT clients based in Coventry & Warwickshire is now available to companies in Leicestershire.

The Directors Development Programme (DDP) provides grants of up to £1000 to Managing Directors, Directors or Principal Decision Makers of enterprises of between 5 and 249 employees, to complete approved training activity of their choice.

To be eligible companies must:

• Complete an Organisational Needs Analysis and Learning Styles Analysis
• Employ between 5-249 staff
• Be less than 25% owned by an organisation
• Supply supporting financial & salary information
• Have a development need at Managing Director, Director, Principal Decision Maker level
• Undertake Approved Training activity of at least 6 guided learning hours

The criteria for individuals within each organisation are:

• Must be Managing Director, Director or Principal Decision Makers
• First £500 is not required to be matched by the client
• Additional £500 is available but must be cash matched by the same person or additional key beneficiaries identified by the Managing Director
• Chosen development must have been identified and confirmed within 6 months of engagement

A suite of Directors Development courses will be delivered in Leicestershire in addition to courses run at CWT - Chamber Training's main training facility in Coventry.
