The hospitality and catering industry employs over 2 million people and is constantly changing, providing food and drink services in a whole range of setting from hotels to pubs, restaurants, conference services and other outlets. Course Content |
There are a range of NVQ''''s available depending upon the area of hospitality and catering within which you work. You can choose from the following depending on your job role: |
- Housekeeping
- Drink Service
- Food & drink service
- Hospitality supervision
- Front office
- Food Processing and Cooking

What level is right for me?
At level 2 you have a choice of: front office; food and drink service; drink service; professional cookery and food preparation and cooking. Level 3 NVQs have been designed to reflect the work of staff in the hospitality industry who have immediate responsibility for the work of others.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. However you must be working within hospitality and catering at the appropriate level, either full-time, part-time or on a voluntary basis in order to generate the necessary evidence to prove competence. CWT will guide you on this.

Duration & Format
Completion is anticipated within 12 months per level. The agreed number of visits will take place at your premises. You will be appointed a personal Assessor who will visit you in the workplace to assess progress on portfolio development and conduct observation sessions. Progress will be recorded at each visit. Oral or written questions will be used to cover underpinning knowledge. Start dates are available throughout the year.

£950 (Chamber member) or £1035 (non Chamber member) per delegate @ level 2
£1050 (Chamber member) or £1145 (non Chamber member) per delegate @ level 3.
Prices are plus Awarding Body registration and certification costs and subject to VAT.
